Registration

The forum is open to researchers, clinicians, caregivers and other professionals in dementia research and care, including neurologists, geriatricians, neuropsychologists, neuroscientists, care scientists, stakeholders from industry, start-ups and politics etc.

1. Open the registration form:

2. Chose your registration type
3. Submit your abstract: Enter your abstract if you wish to present a poster or a lightning talk at the forum. See information on abstract submission below.
4. Submit the form: Complete the form and click submit.
5. Receive confirmation: After submission, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details and payment information (please allow some time for the email to arrive).
6. Submit your payment: Follow the payment instructions in the email to complete your registration. Please note that registration is only considered complete and binding upon receipt of payment.

Submission process:

Submit your abstract directly through the

registration form.

Deadline:

• Abstract submission for lightning session is closed.
• Abstract submission for poster is open until 10.10.2025

Abstract format:

• Title: Maximum of 20 words.
• Abstract: Up to 300 words.

Please note:

• Due to space limitations, only one poster per person is allowed.
• Once the limit of 60 posters is reached, some presenters may be assigned to a room outside the main exhibition area.

Previously, it was possible to submit multiple abstracts for lightning talks. However, submissions for lightning talks are now closed.

For poster presentations, it is no longer possible to submit multiple abstracts. Due to space limitations, only one poster per person is allowed. Once the limit of 60 posters is reached, some presenters may be assigned to a room outside the main exhibition area.

• Size: A0 (119 x 84 cm), vertical orientation.
• Setup: Bring your poster on the first day of the conference and set it up before the welcome address. The allocation of the poster number will be sent in advance.

By public transport from Bern main station:

• Take the PostAuto Line 101 to the Güterbahnhof stop. From there, cross the bridge and turn left at the first building. Enter through the green gate and follow the path to the Eventforum Bern’s entrance.

By car:

• Parkhaus Insel: Exit at Forsthaus and follow the signs for "Inselspital" and "Insel-Parking." The Eventforum is a 700-meter walk from the parking garage.
• Parkhaus Neufeld: Exit at Neufeld and follow the signs for "P+R." The Eventforum is a 1.5-kilometer walk from the parking garage.
